Forgiveness Meditation

Let us close our eyes and relax our bodies. Scan your entire body from the top of your head to tips of your toes. If you notice any tension just breathe into those areas and release tension, breathing out any accumulated tensions and distractions, becoming aware of the peace, perfect peace within each next breath and we affirm that God is the source of peace, complete peace.

As we prepare to enter the new year, we let go of those things that no longer serve us. We thank God for the gift of forgiveness. We both give and receive forgiveness. When we release any painful situation and the resulting emotional pain, this does not mean that we condone the situation. It means that we simply choose to let it go. We can let the past hold you back or we can move on and release it to God.

Let us affirm silently, “I choose to be free from resentment, anger and hurt. I release the pain and the past. I claim a life of peace that I deserve and my load lightens, my pain heals and my heart opens.

Forgiveness frees us to laugh, love and embrace a life of joy. Thank you, God for the gift of forgiveness.

Revelations 21: 4 states “He will wipe every tear from their eyes or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

We affirm to let go and let Divine light fill me. Let go and let God is more than an affirmation. It is a way of life. When problems and challenges occur, we affirm,” We make a conscious decision to see ourselves in unity with the Divine mind.”

We let go of our attachments to any problems and yield to a spiritual solution.

This is when we are truly letting go and letting God.”

God lives in me and flows freely throughout me. God in us is our path to freedom, abundance, peace and harmony. If we become mired in fear, doubt, anger or frustration, we block the flow of God’s life within me.

Letting go opens me to the power of inspiration, insight, wisdom and love. We affirm that we let go and let God manifest in our lives as new adventures, unexpected pleasures and unlimited potential. We live in unity with God.

Jerimiah 42: 3 states: “Pray the Lord your God will tell us where we should go and what we should do.”

Now, as we bring this time of meditation to a close, take a deep breath and slowly exhale. We give thanks for this sacred time together for the newness of life within, for the peace, power and direction that leads us into a new year of peace, power, and unlimited possibilities. Our gratitude overflows.

We are peaceful, guided, healed and prosperous, right here right now. Thank you, God.

You may now open your eyes.
