Altar Ministry
Pamela Thompson
This ministry prepares the sanctuary for all special services, such as baptism, weddings, funerals, Easter, Christmas, and candlelight, etc. We give thanks and praise through prayer for the ministry.
Book Club
Winifred Wilkerson
The Unity Book Club provides an opportunity for spiritual enrichment through reading. The Book Club meets on the 4th Sunday of every month. Participation is very strong and steady. Members reconnect with existing members and always welcome new participants.
Book Store
Winifred Wilkerson
Books are ordered for individual reading, classes, and the book club. This is the 15th year Winnie has been heading this ministry. The bookstore has been dedicated to Reverend Mary Alice Brown, former minister of Unity Church of Christ.
Building & Grounds
David Wells
The building and grounds ministry requires a lot of attention during the heating season and requires one to check the landscaping during the summertime and all other things pertaining to the building and grounds
Community Outreach
At the heart of Unity Church is serving the community and helping those in need. From our yearly teddy bear toy drive for children to our collection of clothes for the homeless, the Community Outreach ministry is ready to lend a hand.
Garden
Making our grounds beautiful is the service of this ministry. Planting colorful and radiant floral arrangements lets God’s love shine through.
Harmony Hall
All events, activities, and gatherings after Sunday Service happen in Harmony Hall. However, it would not be complete without the service of this ministry responsible for managing the kitchen, distribution of refreshments, and clean up.
Meditation
Abisola Gallagher
Focuses on the presence of the still, quiet voice of God within us. There is a 15 minute guided meditation service every Sunday starting at 9:30 am. “My mouth will speak words of wisdom; the meditation of my heart will give you understanding.” Psalm 49:30

The Music Ministry consists of 4 musicians, a choir, and soloists. Our return in 2021 will look quite different, as we adjust from the Pandemic. Our mission, however, is the same. We support the spiritual message of the Minister and Unity Church of Christ by uplifting the congregation through music.
Prayer Chaplains

The Prayer Chaplain is one of the most important aspects of Unity Church. As we pray, we align ourselves with the Truth, our Higher Self. Monthly calls are made to congregants, to pray with them. The ministry keeps and holds the “High Watch” (Spiritual Space) for congregants, their families, community and the world.
Sunday School
Christina Wagner
Based on the 12 Powers. The children express themselves through the Bible with music, dance, arts and crafts, drama and storytelling. Activities encourage the children to join with each other in a loving and harmonious way in learning about God.
Tech

Maintains and supports the church’s computer hardware and software. Operates and maintains the audio and sound system that displays the service to various areas in the church
Welcoming Angels

This ministry is blessed and highly favored. We welcome congregants, their family members, and first-time visitors to worship with us at our Sunday services.
The presence of God blesses this ministry with love, joy, and peace.
Women of Unity
Renee Jones
The Women of Unity (WOU) gather in support of the indwelling Christ in self and others. Collectively we work in service to the church and the community-at-large through planning and implementing activities as understood by the minister. WOU meets on the third Sunday of the month.
